How to Use Tabbed Browsing in Internet Explorer

Tabbed browsing is a new feature of Internet Explorer 7. Using Tabbed browsing we can open multiple web pages in the same window.

Otherwise, in the olden versions of Internet Explorer – The conditions was different as we need to open every new window for each Web pages which seems to be irritating.

So, in this article I will give you the Steps on How to use Tabbed Browsing in Internet Explorer Browser.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Type any address and click enter (eg:nupsout.com), you will see a tab with the name of the current web page, you are visiting now. Next to that tab you can see a While box marked with a Yellow star. Just click on that box. This will open a new page in the same window you are already in.
  3. Type another Web Address and Click enter. Now Internet Explorer is with 2 Active Tabs. You can see it ordered tab by tab.
  4. Whenever you need a new tab, do the Step 2 and you can easily make new ones easily.
  5. If you want to close a tab, click the x button near to the name of every tabs.
  6. You can try ‘Quick Tabs’ feature to manage your tabs easily. It is a image marked with an image of four squares, which appears on the left of the tab bar.
